Connie Mulligan is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Ms. Mulligan has been teaching vocal/choral music for over 20 years. Ten of her years were spent at Mt. Zion High School, as well as 8 years in the Springfield and Pekin areas. Most recently, Ms. Mulligan became the vocal/show choir director at Sullivan Jr/Sr High School in 2010. She is a member of Illinois Music Educators Association, was on the staff of the EIU show choir camps for 20 years and has served as an adjudicator for various competitions and festivals, both regionally and nationally. Ms. Mulligan served as a co-director for the FAME All Stars who traveled abroad for two consecutive years to England, France and Italy. She also enjoys working as a free-lance choreographer and clinician. Connie’s biggest love is her two children, Samual and Sydni.
Dwight Jordan is co-founder and co-director of Showchoir Camps of America, Inc., a national summer workshop for young singers/dancers and directors. He also completes stage productions for major American theme parks. A music education graduate of Millikin University, he has gone on to receive national awards for musical and artistic excellence.
Dwight is a former band teacher and the Swingsations Combo Director. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and family.
Joe Wolfe is from Atwood, Illinois and is a retired music educator, having taught in the Central Illinois area for thirty-five years. Mr. Wolfe graduated from Atwood-Hammond Schools in 1972, and holds degrees from Millikin University in Decatur and the University of Illinois in Champaign. Mr. Wolfe was a four year member of the prestigious Millikin Jazz Band where he played vibes and piano. His teaching assignments include: Heritage (Homer), Paxton (PBL), Champaign Centennial HS and Jefferson MS in Champaign, and the Atwood-Hammond School District. His performing groups throughout his career garnered many awards and accolades for performance excellence. Mr. Wolfe writes and arranges music for show choirs, show choir combos, jazz bands, marching bands, and church music groups throughout the nation. While teaching at Champaign Centennial High School, Mr. Wolfe received ‘Teacher of the Year’ honors in 1990.
Currently, Mr. Wolfe is in his second year assisting with the Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond Marching Band and plays keyboards in the praise band at his church. Mr. Wolfe is a clinician and adjudicates at solo & ensemble and organizational contests, plus has adjudicated at the prestigious EIU Jazz Festival for the past 5 years.
Kelly Sullivan has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Information Management from Illinois Status University, but she has also had a love for piano since age 5 which began with her first lesson. She has been playing piano, professionally, for over 20 years. Her first introduction to choral music (both as a singer, dancer, and instrumentalist) was with the Sullivan Singers under the direction of David Fehr. In years 2014 and 2015, Kelly had the privilege of accompanying this group under the direction of Connie Mulligan. She is the Assistant Organist at the First Christian Church in Sullivan, IL as well as the Choir Accompanist under the direction of Debbie Seelhoeffer. Throughout her career, she has accompanied various groups, choirs, vocalists, solo instrumentalists along with dance and musical theater productions at The Little Theater on the Square, and is held in high regard as an accompanist and collaborative musician by both singers and instrumentalists.
